Bangkok is a city brimming with history, culture, and amazing food. If you’re short on time, you can still experience the best of what the city has to offer in just one day! In this itinerary, Chasing the Chungs shares how we explored Bangkok’s iconic temples, kicked back and relax on a roof top bar, indulged in Michelin-recognized noodles, and finished the day with an unforgettable 4-hand Thai massage.

Whether you’re an early riser or prefer a leisurely start, these attractions are must-visits for any traveller in Bangkok.

Begin your day at Wat Arun, one of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks located along the Chao Phraya River. Known as the Temple of Dawn, Wat Arun’s intricate porcelain mosaics are simply breathtaking.

  • 💸Cost: 100 THB (~$3.85 CAD)
  • ⛴️How to Get There: From the Sanam Chai mrt station, Take a short ferry ride across the river for just 5 THB (~$0.38 CAD).

  • 📌Address: 36-38 Pratu Nokyung Alley, Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand

For dinner, indulge in Lim Lao Ngow’s Michelin-recognized fishball noodles. This unassuming eatery has earned Michelin’s recognition seven years in a row (2018–2024) for its fresh, flavourful noodles.
